I wrote it to weave together my favourite myths into a brand new version of the creation and destruction of the ancient Norse cosmos, and introduce the world to the abilities and talents of professional wrestlers – outside of the context of wrestling.

The show is a high-impact dark comedy in which half-brothers Odin and Loki must overcome primordial giants, rival Gods and Goddesses, and their own ambitions – in their quest to seize power over the Nine Worlds.

It runs out of the Cockpit Theatre in London.

I’ve performed, choreographed and directed wrestling for corporate adverts (Barclaycard), TV shows (The Only Way Is Essex), feature films (Walk Like A Panther) and music videos (The Next Storm by Frank Turner). I also direct and perform in the only original theatre show in the world to professional wrestling for the fight scenes.

As a performer, I’ve worked on hundreds of wrestling shows and over 50 films, TV shows and other recorded media projects. As a competitive strongman, full time stunt performer and theatre director, I have a combination of athleticism, experience and creative flair that makes me useful as both a performer and consultant for stunt wrestling jobs.

Sex and the Titties: The Sexy Adventures of Stann Boothe is the worst piece of erotica ever written.

My best-selling book is smut. Or rather, it’s trying to be smut; it never quite gets there and instead is hailed by many as the most ‘unintentionally funny’ piece of literature ever written.

The true identity of Mann Smoothe may never be known.

The log book has been printed exactly as it was found, complete with all McCuba’s scribbles, sketches and stains, plus a hundred pages of glorious vibrant illustrations that immerse us in his technicolour adventure.

Some pages are detailed descriptions of the new world around him; others are manic scrawls across the pages – the rantings of a man losing his mind.

That’s right: if you’ve got pockets, I’ve got a book that’ll probably fit into one of them. I mean it’s 150ish pages long so…who really knows. It’ll probably fit, but will it be comfortable? Possibly not. Possibly that’s THE WHOLE IDEA! Only one way to find out for sure though, eh?

I’ve been writing and re-writing this book on and off for the the last six years, and I’ve finally realised it needs to see the light of day in order to a) stay true to some of its own foundational principles (i.e. BE STRONG AND JUST GET IT DONE!) and b) get the feedback necessary to IMPROVE it.

In essence, it explains the nine guiding ‘principles’ around which I – and my fellow Guildsfolk – try to live. That isn’t to say they are the best of all principles by which to live, unless you’re trying to be a Guildsperson – in which case they are. I’ve debated and explaining and tested these ideals time and time again throughout my own silly life, and I’m honoured to share them with you so you can see if they work for you as well.

One of the coolest things about the book are the nine glorious illustrations created for me by Arik Meijer aka. Solsort Ink. These put context and imagery around my words, and bring the whole thing to life in a way that I could never have imagined myself.

I’m delighted and slightly terrified to share this work with you, but it’s important that I do.
